The Essence of Spring at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival
April 14, 2016
The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival takes place every April. Roozengaarde’s tulip display is open until the end of April 2016, and Tulip Town is open through Sunday, April 17th, 2016.
Visiting the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is definitely worth the drive up from Seattle. The trip itself is very scenic, but the tulip fields are astounding. Visiting the thousands of tulips blooming at the same time stretching as far as the eye can see is an extraordinary experience. The huge, vibrant swatches of color are breathtaking.
When you’re up in the area, be sure to stop by Schuh farms as well for fresh-baked pies, farm-fresh eggs, and a close-up-and-personal experience with their goats, cows, and chickens! Yum!
