NCAA Women’s Basketball at Climate Pledge Arena

We are so excited to welcome fans to Seattle for NCAA Women’s Basketball at Climate Pledge Arena!

About the Monorail:

Seattle Center Monorail provides fast, direct transportation between Westlake Center (400 Pine Street, Seattle, WA 98101) and Seattle Center (next to the Space Needle, just a few minutes from Climate Pledge Arena). Built for the 1962 World’s Fair, Seattle Center Monorail has carried millions of passengers during its 60 years of service. All NCAA Women’s Basketball ticketholders are eligible to receive free transit passes to travel to and from Climate Pledge Arena to get to ticketed events. If you are traveling during a non-event window of time, passengers can purchase tickets to ride the Monorail from ticket vending machines at both stations or tap an ORCA card.

Connecting from Light Rail (1 Line) to Monorail:

Many fans will use Sound Transit 1 Line which travels between SeaTac/Airport Station and Northgate Station and has 19 stations. To get to Climate Pledge Arena, you will take the 1 Line to Westlake Station. Once you exit at Westlake Station, go up one level to the Mezzanine level and look for signs to get to Monorail. The Monorail is located on the third floor of Westlake Center (400 Pine Street); there is a dedicated stairwell and elevator that provides access to the Monorail Platform. Once there, you will need to open your transit pass for the Monorail in the Kraken mobile app and show it to a customer service representative who will scan your pass and provide entry to the loading zone where you can board the next available train.
