One of our favorite places for amazing views of Seattle is up on the Space Needle’s Observation Deck!
The Space Needle is open daily 8:00am-11:30pm. The Space Needle is located at 400 Broad St. Seattle, WA 98109.
As Seattle’s iconic landmark from the 1962 World’s Fair, the Space Needle hosts over 1 million visitors each year. The Space Needle offers a stunning 360-degree view of Seattle in the summer! On the ramp leading to the elevator, you can learn about the Space Needle’s history. After a 40-second elevator ride, you reach the Observation Deck, towering 520 feet above Seattle Center. We loved seeing both the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges! If you ever hear locals say, “the mountain is out today,” this means that it is a beautiful and clear day in the Pacific Northwest, with Mount Rainier in sight.
All guests at the Space Needle receive a complimentary digital photo download as well as the ability to use their powerful telescopes free of charge!
With clear views of Downtown Seattle, Queen Anne, Puget Sound, and South Lake Union, you can really appreciate the beauty that Seattle has to offer. You can even see the Monorail from up there!
Use the huge SkyPad to sign the global guest book and see all the places around the world Space Needle visitors have come from! You can also upload your Space Needle memories to share with current and future visitors.
Buy your Space Needle tickets here! Seattle Center Monorail travels directly between Westlake Station and Seattle Center – our Seattle Center Station is across from the Space Needle. Monorail to the Space Needle for a great view of Seattle!
