Movies & Concerts at the Mural

Friday and Saturday nights at the Seattle Center just got even more exciting! With a FREE movie and concert every Friday and Saturday evening, you can be sure to get the most out of your summer weekends!

Starting on Saturday, July 27th around dusk (9pm), the Seattle Center will be showing a movie every Saturday evening at the Mural Amphitheater on the Seattle Center campus. Movies at the Mural kicks off with a showing of the the 1987 classic The Princess Bride. Other films scheduled to show: Hugo, The Avengers, The Help, and Les Miserables. The first Concert at the Mural starts at 5:30pm on Friday, August 2nd and are planned every Friday thereafter until August 23rd. Some of KEXP 90.3FM’s favorite artists will be performing. If you’re interested in discovering some of the best independent artists in the area, this is the time and place to do it! The series commences with the groups: No Depression, JD McPherson, Rose Windows, and River Giant. For more information on other shows visit the Seattle Center Website.

Don’t forget, the movies and concerts are absolutely free and open to all ages! Just show up at the Seattle Center Mural Amphitheater before 9:00pm on Saturdays for the movies and 5:30pm on Fridays for the concerts to claim a spot! There will be sponsored booths to browse as well as a beer/wine garden for adults who are 21+!
