Explore the wonders of nature at Woodland Park Zoo

With the weather warming up here in Seattle there’s no better time to make the trip to Woodland Park Zoo. The Zoo’s 92-acre campus features more than 1,000 animals comprised of more than 300 unique species! Watch proud lions, graceful giraffes and lumbering hippos in the African Savanna exhibit. See Humboldt Penguins frolicking in the waves. Observe elk, otters, bears and wolves on the Northern Trail. Bring the little ones to Willawong Station where they can feed colorful, exotic birds! With so many habitats and biomes to explore, Woodland Park Zoo has a little something for everyone!
